# About sUSD

## Stablehodl Staked Dollars - sUSD

\- sUSD is stablehodl staked dollar within the StableHodl ecosystem, representing staked HLUSD, USDC, USDT - assets that are staked in Stablehodl.

\- This sUSD acts as a “receipt token” 1:1 to the amount that is being staked by a user.\
( For example: User staked 1000 HLUSD = 1000 sUSD reflected on the wallet, in this scenario when a user “unstake” 500 HLUSD - 500 sUSD will be burned and user will receive 500 HLUSD)

## Benefits of sUSD

\- Tracking: sUSD provides a Proof Of Receipt - for Stablehodl transactions, acting as the “receipt” with no price value.

\- Security: Backed by the HeLa Network’s modular Layer 1 architecture, ensuring robust scalability and decentralization.
